Born in Lyon in 1966, studied at the Fine Art School of Lyon (1985-88), at the Kunstakademie in Düsseldorf (1988-93), Meisterschüler of Nam June Paik, at the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne (1993-1996) and at the Institute of Art in Context of the UdK Berlin (2002-2005). He works and lives in Berlin. He has held exhibitions and actions in different countries of Europe, America and Asia.
I’m interested in the interaction between surveillance and entertainment. With „Supervision“, I designed a portable mast, as a body extension. A camera is installed on the top, the „eye“ of the extension, watching from above. Mobility and flexibility up to absurdity – I extend my body to these dimensions.
