Dima Bre was born in 1961 in Talbakul Village, Gumine South Simbu. Bre has worked in many agricultural ana building roles and started to paint in 2oo2, leaning much of his colour skills from fellow artists. He first exhibited in the PNG National Museum and Gallery exhibition in 2005.
