(Alfred:) A day full of archiving, packing, saving, confirming and bye-byes. First, we had the idea to set up an exhibition with reproductions of all works, but we decided not to do that. The exhibition would be rarely visited in this time of the year. The Chrismas School holidays have started allready. Here are some of the new paintings from Port Moresby artists. All the individual artists pages will online soon!
(Alfred:) We open at 11 am. There is a private party on the Museum´s ground. Good: More dancing and music, and visitors are coming to this most remote place of the town.
(Alfred:) Some problems: They need our sound system. But we find another solution, most missing: a cabel to connect cellphone music to it. Solution: Put a microfon and the cellphone into a cup. We record an interview with Ratoos, and take a lot of photos of the show. They will be published later. Hopefully, we can make a small booklet while the Berlin exhibition next year. More dancing
(Alfred:) Until last minute, the participating Port Moresby artists bring some great art works. We put them on the ground, waiting for the opening ceremony of the exhibition. At 2 pm, everybody is coming, EM TV, newspapers, Mr. Andrew Matu, the director of the National Museum, all the artists.
